Baymore Ltd recently attended an emergency call from a customer reporting blocked and backing-up drainage at their property.
Upon arrival, our engineers began clearing sewage and debris from the chamber to investigate the cause of the blockage. Following the initial clean, we carried out a CCTV drain survey to accurately locate the obstruction within the pipework.
To our surprise, the camera quickly revealed the culprit — a small fire engine had taken a wrong turn and become lodged within the drainage system.
Using our specialist equipment and access to the downstream chamber, our engineers carefully removed the obstruction and restored the pipe to full working order.
We are pleased to report that both the fire engine and its driver were successfully rescued without casualties.
